And now, 2010! I have a new deviantart site for my professional work: orchidmantisstudio.devvieart. I want to use this site for my hobby stuff.
So in 2008 I finished the V siren. I tried to work on the A Siren in 2009, but it didn't work out. Same deal with the BangDoll. But because I get the Five Star Stories jebberees every spring I started on the Alukana Siren I ordered a few years ago. And this time I pulled through. I cannot say which kit I am going to work on now. The Siren A, the Machine Mess, and the BangDoll from VOLKS are still waiting for me to work on them. I just finished my work on the V Siren. I wanted to do something creative other than my own work because of a stupid project that I have to work on for school. Since my FSS kits were gathering dust, I wanted to escape from reality for a while and work on them.
Now I'm going along to the very first FSS kit I've ever orderd : The Bang Doll. I've really messed this one up. I have already made attemps to paint it, but it never worked out.
The original model is grey, but I've always thought it would look better in pink. Just the other day I found 2 illustrations of a pink Bang Doll.
